Gathering data from the VO

This is a list of all of the historical supernovae. There are thousands of objects here, of every type of supernova. The ones I am interested in are the type Ia. I think that it would be best to choose targets which have a named host galaxy.

I am interested in obtaining spectroscopy of dwarf galaxies, which should have a low metallicity. The spectra need to be in the optical band (~3000 - 10,000 Angstroms).

The emission lines I am interested in are (wavelengths are in Angstroms):
